What is a Super Typhoon, you ask? The best way to describe it to westerners would be... It's basically a Category 5 Hurricane. And yes Super Typhoon Man-Yi is over Okinawa as I type. Winds are currently at approximately 155 mph with gusts 175 mph. Weather experts anticipate winds to exceed 200 mph. It's so exillarating to watch the power of our Lord in the storm. We are blessed to live on a solid foundation and a building that is built much like a bomb shelter, so evacuation is not necessary. I've included satelite images of this incredible event. Okinawa is the small island North of the eye.
